GENEALOGY PRIVACY
The internet is a fascinating new world for genealogy!
Could we be putting our families at risk without even realizing it?

We are all working hard, gathering information for our family trees!
Lets work equally hard to protect our living family members!
When you share your research, either by private email, genealogy mailing lists
or building your own website, please do not
include personal information on living persons, without their permission!
You have no way of knowing where this information could eventually end up or how
it could be used. Protect your family from identity theft, credit card
fraud, just to name a few. Use programs like GEDClean32 and GEDLiving
to help you "Protect the Living" as you share your research.
